Park Slope French Neo-Grec

This French Neo Grec rowhouse has been thoughtfully reinterpreted through a full renovation that restores its nineteenth century detailing while introducing a refined contemporary sensibility. Original architectural elements are preserved and paired with new custom millwork, cohesive material palettes, and a calm, ordered interior language. The kitchen and bathrooms are reimagined with crafted cabinetry and considered fixtures that support the overall architectural clarity of the home.

Light serves as a central design driver. Tall ceilings, elongated openings, and a disciplined floor plan allow daylight to move fluidly across each level, highlighting the dialogue between restored ornamentation and new interventions. The primary suite is conceived as a private retreat, organized around generous spatial flow and a bath defined by simplicity, warm materials, and precise detailing. Across the house, rooms connect with an intentional rhythm that enhances movement and underscores the continuity of the design.

Situated on a tree lined street near Prospect Park, the home engages its context through restraint and respect for its architectural lineage. The renovation preserves the essence of the original French Neo Grec structure while adapting it for contemporary life, resulting in a residence that feels both rooted in history and distinctly current.
